Some good news for all you stuck on iOS 6.1.3/4 out there, iPhone 5 has been successfully jailbroken running iOS 6.1.4. As we told you, hacker Winocm has been developing an iOS 6.1.3 untethered jailbreak for both A4 and A5 devices. Although, he earlier clarified that his jailbreak isn't working for iPhone 4 properly, but this hasn't deterred him from developing the jailbreak for A5 devices. Hit the jump and take a look at the screenshot of the Cydia installed on iPhone 5 GSM and CDMA below.

From the screenshots above, you can clearly see Cydia installed on iPhone 5 on iOS 6.1.4. Winocm has managed to successfully jailbreak both AT&T iPhone 5 (GSM) and Verizon iPhone 5 (CDMA) on iOS 6.1.4 firmware. As far as other A5 devices are concerned, I do hope this jailbreak will work on those devices as well.

Winocm hasn’t promised an ETA and I am pretty sure it won't be available for another month. If you still feel comfortable with iOS 6.1.3,4 or you own iPhone 3GS or iPod touch 4, then Winocm's untether will be prove really helpful to you.

Excited much?

The public version of iOS 7 will be out in just a couple of weeks from now, so will you upgrade to the latest firmware or will you stay on iOS 6.1.3 or 6.1.4 just to enjoy an untethered jailbreak? Tell us your answers and thoughts in the comments section below.
