Chrome Updated To Fix Startup Crash On Jailbroken iOS Devices

Jailbroken iPhone and iPad users inlcuding me have been experiencing serious troubles with Chrome as it crashes on each startup. But Google To fix this issue, Google has rolled out an update titled Chrome version 25.0.1364.124 in the App Store. Also, veteran coder Jay Freeman aka Saurik has apparently figured out what caused this bug. Hit the jump to download the latest version of Chrome.

Jay Freeman has said that Google added some jailbreak-detection code for crash reporting in the last update without doing any prior testing and that was the main reason behind this startup crash. The bug in @googlechrome was analyzed by @phoenixdev, who found some jailbreak-detection logic that assumed you had turned on crash reports.
