It has come as a bit of a surprise, the release of iOS 6.1.1, for it doesn't patch evasi0n jailbreak's exploit as of yet. The evad3rs dev team have updated evasi0n to version 1.3 with complete support for untether jailbreak on the iOS 6.1.1 firmware which was released for the iPhone 4S only. As it follows from a tweet by the evad3rs, it  should now correctly support Mac OS X 10.5. Read more for complete download links and tutorials for your idevice.

If you have an iPhone 4S you can now safely update to iOS 6.1.1 firmware (download here).  Just ensure that you update to iOS 6.1.1 with iTunes and not using OTA (over-the-air) update feature as this will surely mess up evasi0n jailbreak. If you don’t have an iPhone 4S, you can update using Cydia packages as shown below.

 Step 1: Launch Cydia from springboard.
Step 2: Navigate to the Changes tab at the bottom.


Step 3: Make sure evasi0n Untether is ticked, then tap Upgrade > Confirm.
