iOS 6,6.0.1,6.1 Jailbreak FAQ : What Works, What Doesn't

Hey its d0mino here and for the past few days my email has been overloded with readers asking questions about iOS 6 jailbreak and related stuff. Some people are even confused and have ended up paying money to bogus and fake sites. And with the hacking community and the Dev Team coming to bit of a slowdown, we are desperately waiting for an iOS 6 untethered jailbreak. Below is a compilation of all questions UJB readers are asking me via email.
Q : Can I jailbreak my iPhone 5 running iOS 6 ?
A : No, as of now there is no iOS 6 jailbreak for iPhone 5. Only iPhone 3GS,iPhone 4,iPod Touch 4G can be jailbroken and that too, tethered which means you will have to connect your idevice to your computer to tether boot with redsn0w. Q : For what idevices, there is still no jailbreak available ?
A : For the following idevices...
- iPhone 5
- iPhone 4S
- iPod touch 5G
- iPad 2
- iPad 3
Q : Can I jailbreak my idevice using DreamJB ?
A : No, its just another fake tool. Some of the fake tools are : ra1n, redra1n, yellowra1n, fastra1n, safera1n, softJb, JBNow, sbsinJB, safeJB, DreamJB
Q : Any ETA (estimated time of arrival) for a public iOS 6 untethered jailbreak ?
A : Although the Dev Team have jailbroken iPhone 5 on iOS 6 successfully but are still waiting for the correct moment to make it publicly available. I urge you to patiently wait for this release.
Q : Is my idevice downgradable from iOS 6 to iOS 5.1.1 ?
A : Yes, you can downgrade from iOS 6 to iOS 5.1.1 only on iPhone 3GS/4 and iPod Touch 4G if you have SHSH blobs saved for 5.1.1. This doesn't work on iPhone 4S, iPad 2/3even if you have saved SHSH blobs. If you haven't saved SHSH blobs, then there is absolutely no way out at the moment.
Q : Can I unlock my iPhone with ultrasn0w tool ?
A : ultrasn0w unlock tool doesn't support iOS 6 but works on 5.1.1 or lower firmware versions.
