It's just a matter of few days and we could well witness the preview of the much anticipated operating system iOS 7 at the WWDC 2013. But this doesn't stop Sonny Dickson to stop leaking the images of iOS 7 online. iOS 7 has been much in news recently mainly because of its "flatter" UI (user interface) devoid of any sort of skeumorphism and curves. All the things that Dickson leaked in the past turned out to be true and were completely real. Hit the jump to catch a glimpse of the alleged screenshot.
The image depicts the stock applications having "flat" icons without any signs of skeumorphism and gloss. Graphic designer Surenix has redesigned and recreated the image in a much formal fashion as can be seen below.
However, Surenix's rendition clearly suggests that this iteration of Apple's mobile operating system will be very old-school.
So, let's wait and see what Jonathan Ive has been upto (actually he is the heading the design department of Apple). I am afraid that this will be a huge disappointment and surely a lot of people would make a switch to Android for sure or stay on the more robust iOS 6, like me.
Let's hope the fruit company includes useful new features and makes the UI much more appealing than its predecessors. If iOS 7 fails to impress, would you make a switch to Android ? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.

I am definitely thinking of making a switch top Android if Apple's fails to impress this time. My choice of device would be the Samsung Galaxy S4.

I would be using iOS 6 instead. I already own an Android phone Xperia ST21i and Android is quite good but you won't have Cydia and other usual jailbreak stuff.

Actually you would, cydia substrate and winter board have been released for android and development is being done as we speak to improve it.

Djoec1983, yes you're right. Android's getting better and better.

If apple continues to limit me with what I can do with my phone, I'll get a galaxy and they can kiss my ass. I'm tired of their crap. I have to go through so many motions and settings do do something when there are apps that only take one swipe. I kick myself for going 6.1.3. iphone isn't
shit without a JB. controlling pricks!

Hey Anon, you're absolutely spot-on with that. More and more iUsers are switching to GS4 because without a jailbreak iPhone flat out sucks.
