As always, our official Facebook Fan Page is being flooded with messages from users all around the globe. Everyone is asking for a working method to install and activate iOS 7 beta 1 on their devices without a developer account or a registered UDID. Finally, our support team has come up with a pretty nifty and easy solution for you folks. Hit the jump to checkout the video and instructions for installing the firmware update on your device.

Install iOS 7 Without Developer Account Or UDID
Step 1: Connect your device to your computer and take a full backup of all the data and information using iTunes 11. Here are the steps to backing up your data successfully. Remember, these steps are exactly the same for Windows/Mac and for any model also.
This step will successfully create a backup so you can restore all your necessary information and data anytime later on.
Step 2: Now, download the latest version of iOS 6. For iPhone 5, you will require 6.1.4 (download here) whereas for every other device you will need to use 6.1.3 (download here) only.
Step 3: Now, download iOS 7 for your desired device from here. The format of this file will be .ipsw that is a firmware file.
Step 4: With iTunes already opened up, press Shift key (for Windows) or Option key (for Mac) and select Restore. Now select iOS 6.1.4 for iPhone 5 and for other devices, select 6.1.3 only. After the restoration process gets over, set the device up as a fresh one .
Step 5: Again, press Shift key (for Windows) or Option key (for Mac) and click Update button (NOT the Restore button).
Step 6: Now this step is very important, ensure that you select only iOS 7 beta 1 and nothing else. Let the process continue, when it's over your device will be updated without any hassles.
Step 7: After updating to this new firmware version, it's time to activate it. To do this, follow this tutorial.

June 12, 2013 at 12:35 AM
Matt Warr, the steps for installing a dmg file have been given above. Follow them.
June 12, 2013 at 2:55 AM
hi, when i open the dmg file i see 4 files :
0.ddn
1.apple_partition_map
2.hfs
3.free
no ipsw file
June 12, 2013 at 8:57 AM
windows users must use dmgextractor to make the .dmg file ito an iso, they can then use 7zip (or any iso extractor) to get the ipsw file out.

How do I fix activation message that I am receiving after installing 7 on my iPhone 4.
Right now, I don't have wifi connection neither 3G shows up.
June 12, 2013 at 11:23 PM
Make sure you use the Update button not the Restore button. Doing this will bypass the activation screen itself.

So can we not have the iPhone back up from iCloud so I get all my apps back? I did see away to select that option when the phone booted up
June 14, 2013 at 4:56 AM
Siddhant Shetty, make sure you are on latest official firmware that is 6.1.3 or 6.1.4(for iphone 5 only). Then continue with the process, extract the 7 ipsw firmware file and it will work for sure. Good luck.

Stuck at "Verifying iPhone restore with Apple..." when I restoring the 6.1.3.
June 16, 2013 at 6:58 AM
Nikz, do these steps :
1) Navigate to C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc (for MAC, press Shift+Command+G and type /etc/ and tap Enter)
2) Open the hosts file using Notepad and then find this line 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com
3) Delete the entire line URL and save the hosts file.
4) Continue with the restore process.

I successfully downloaded ios 7 from your site but was recently sent an IOS 7 beta 2 download. Should I be on the safe side and stick with the current version or should I download the new version that contains bug fixes and improvements.

Works perfectly on my iPod touch 5th gen, without any "activation" silliness. Updated to beta 2, managed to restore apps/settings from 6.1.3. (I accidentally updated to that, so no jailbreak—so I decided to go whole hog with 7.)
