As we told you, Apple just released the iOS 6.1.4 update only for iPhone 5 without carrying any new features except a new audio profile for speakerphone. Notcom has updated TinyUmbrella tool to version 6.14.00 for saving SHSH blobs on latest iOS 6.1.4 firmware. Just to fututre-proof your device from any kind of hassles, you must save your SHSH blobs for your iPhone 5 now. Although, there is still no working jailbreaking solution for iOS 6.1.4 at the moment.

If you don't know, SHSH blobs are required if you update to a newer firmware and somehow again want to go back to (downgrade) a lower firmware version. If you have any kind of queries or problems, feel free to ask us in the comments section below.

have got ios 6.1.2 SHSH for my iphone 5, at present my phone is on
6.1.4, I saved the blob in appropriate location to be used by tiny
umbrella.
Can I restore it to 6.1.2 by starting the TSS server and using iTunes restore the stock ipsw 6.1.2?
Or, do i need to make a custom ipsw?

No Wasim, you can't downgrade iPhone 5 back to iOS 6.1.2 even if you have SHSH/aptickets saved. Yours is an A5 device and currently there is no method to do that. Wait for a iOS 6.1.4 jailbreak instead.

I have an iphone 5 gsm on ios 6.1.4 ( not jailbroken ). Is there any way that i can copy 6.1.4 shsh blobs from my iphone now when apple has stopped signing?
