Much intel was leaked about a whole new device marked as AppleTV3,2 when the firmware update for the Apple TV (5.2) was rolled out by Apple. Surprisingly, this revamped device is now released and selling on every Apple Store as well. Our friends over at MacRumors have already got their hands on one of the new Apple TV 3,2 device and have found that it actually contains a die-shrunk A5 chip instead of an A5X processor. Hit the jump for the photo of this new tweaked Apple TV third-generation.

This die shrunk A5 chip (shown above) in the new tweaked Apple TV 3,2 measures just 6 mm by 6 mm. These ultra small chips will enable Apple to produce much smaller devices in the near future. MacRumors further speculates that this chip might just be manufactured by TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) instead of Samsung.

The major reason what I think for Apple switching to TSMC in place of Samsung's chips and processors as the company is already giving fierce competition to the iPhone with its Galaxy S3 and other devices as well. Let us know what you think about this in the comments section below.
