Apple has just released the iOS 6.1.3 beta 2 firmware 
today to its registered developers only in the wake of many bugs, issues and security vulnerabilities, one of them being the lockscreen bypass bug. This update also includes several improvements for the Maps application for Japan. There has been no word by the evad3rs yet and it probably might patch evasi0n untethered jailbreak. So, I urge you to keep your hands off of this update for sure if you jailbroke using evasi0n. Read more for the complete changelog of iOS 6.1.3 beta 2.

The fruit company has been a bit late on fixing all the issues on its latest iOS 6.1.1 release, but this update fixes the lockscreen bug for sure which was a clever workaround to bypass the password lock and allowed the intruders to access a plethora of phone functions such as calling and contacts lookup. It also possibly patches the iOS 6 jailbreak untethered evasi0n that remained intact in iOS 6.1.2. The entire changelog for iOS 6.1.2 can be found below…

  • Markers support added for transit stations, subways and traffic lights 
  • Updated freeway's color to green 
  • Whole new Icons for several locations such as fire stations, police stations, hospitals and post office buildings
  • Added 3D buildings support for the Tokyo Station, Japan's Imperial Palace and Tokyo Tower
