Many reports are sprouting up on the web regarding excessive bandwidth from idevices running iOS 6.1 firmware which is leading to battery drain issues. The high bandwidth levels are supposedly being caused due to a large amount of logging taking place in the mailbox. As of now, there has been no official notification regarding Apple. Even Vodafone UK carrier has warned its iPhone 4S users to not upgrade to iOS 6.1 as it degrades it 3G performance and subsequently its battery life. Read more to fix the problem.
