How to Jailbreak iOS 6,6.1 Untethered Using evasi0n [Mac]

Step 1: Create a folder named Pwnage on your desktop and download the evasi0n jailbreak tool (from here) in that folder.
Step 2: Double click the evasi0n dmg file from the Pwnage folder on your desktop to mount the .dmg file.

Step 3: Drag the evasi0n from the mounted .dmg file into the Pwnage folder on your desktop.
Step 4: Right click the evasi0n app icon then click Open to fire up the tool. If you get a message saying "from unidentified developer" still click on open button as it is completely virus free.

Step 5: Connect your idevice to your computer via USB cable.
Step 6: Firstly make sure you have removed any lockscreen passcodes from your idevice. Then, click the Jailbreak button to begin.
Step 7: The application will then use the information from your idevice to

  • prepare jailbreak data
  • inject stage 1 data
  • reboot the device
  • wait for the device to be ready
  • inject stage 2 data
  • upload Cydia and the Cydia packages list

Step 8: Now you need to unlock your idevice and tap the new Jailbreak application icon. Now, your screen will go black and close immediately.

Step 9: evasi0n tool will then

  • inject the remount payload
  • remount the root filesystem
  • prepare the final jailbreak data
  • inject the final data

 and then complete the process
The whole process is completely finished. Your idevice will now reboot with Cydia lying on the springboard.
