There were speculations that Apple would be releasing the iOS 6.1.2 firmware update to fix the iOS 6.1 bug-plagued with Exchange calendar bug and battery life issues. The iOS 6.1 was the first update to be bogged down with so many bugs and errors like the Exchange calendar bug and password bypass loophole. This update is of around 12.8 megabytes and can be downloaded using OTA or the direct links given below.

 The new version is available for download in iTunes or as an over-the-air software update. Jailbreak hacker David Wang aka planetbeing has sent out a tweet saying that 6.1.2 does not break the evasi0n jailbreak untethered and users who have jailbroken thier idevices with evasi0n can update to 6.1.2 version safely.
